Dynamic Hyperlink to last column. Goto A1 to B1 to C1....Data set grows hyperlink to D1

    Hello

I'm trying to use the hyperlink function to create a link that will take me to the end of the data set in the last column even when more data is added.

The data is entered beginning in B1 then C1 then D1..... I would like to create a dynamic hyperlink that goes to the last column as more data is entered.

I know how to create a dynamic hyperlink to take me to the last row of a column. But in this situation the data is transposed and the hyperlink needs to go to the last column.

    Thanks

COUNTA will work if there are no gaps in the data in column B

    Re: Dynamic Hyperlink

if there are gaps in data in column B then something more creative would be required
    maybe something like array formula

    Formula: copy to clipboard

...confirmed by pressing CTRL+SHIFT+ENTER to activate the array, not just ENTER. You will know the array is active when you see curly braces { } appear around your formula. If you do not CTRL+SHIFT+ENTER you will get an error or a clearly incorrect answer.

In that case, you need to edit your thread title.

    • Use concise, accurate thread titles.
    • Your post title should describe your problem, not your anticipated solution.
    • Use terms appropriate to a Google search - poor thread titles, like Please Help, Urgent, Need Help, Formula Problem, Code Problem, and Need Advice tell us nothing.
    • Responding to a request to change your thread title by doing so is mandatory.

To change a title go to your first post, click EDIT then Go Advanced and change your title.

No help to be offered, please, until the OP complies with this request.

So it matters if you have text only or or a mix of both numbers or text
it also matters if you have a square block of data or not

i've set up a little demo to highlight the difference

if neither of these is what you are after than...you either need to convert data to table

if all 3 arent what you want...then your probably looking at VBA options
