Exclamation % Increase Formula using IFERROR

Can the formula (A2/A1)-1 use IFERROR? I can't seem to get it to work after multiple attempts. I receive the error not enough arguments.

I am trying to convert #DIV/0! to 100

    Thanks!

    This is a guess.

    Formula: copy to clipboard

If this doesn't do what you want we are going to need some sample BEFORE and AFTER data ... perhaps an uploaded representative Excel workbook.

If you are not familiar with how to do this (the paperclip icon does not work ):

To attach a file to your post: (Please no pics or screenshots ... saves retyping data.),
    • be sure to desensitize the data
    • click “Go Advanced” (next to Post Quick Reply – bottom right),
    • scroll down until you see “Manage Attachments”, click that,
    • click “Browse”.
    • select your file(s)
    • click “Upload”
    • click “Close window”
    • click “Submit Reply”

The file name will appear at the bottom of your reply.

Re: % Increase Formula using IFERROR

    I tried and didn't work.

I tried to attach an image (sorry, but using VLOOKUP and would require changing too much data and the data is confidential) so hopefully worked.
Basically first columns use VLOOKUP formula and then last 3 columns use the % change formula (A2/A1)-1

We do not need to see all of your data, just a desensitised sample. Please attach a workbook - the image is of no help at all.

    IFERROR worked for me...
    U
    6
    972
    7
    0
    8

    U8=IFERROR(U6/U7-1,"")
