Dynamic change in the y-axis problem

    Hi guys,

I'm having a problem with Excel. The problem is that my Y-axis values of a graph do not change according to the data. With this I mean that, I have a drop down section which includes percentages, numbers, numbers with one decimal places, numbers with two decimal places, and numbers with 0,0x behind. I was wondering whether there would be a possibility to change the axis according to these values? Preferably not with VBA. This is for Microsoft Excel 2013, newest version. Thank you in advance for the help!

Attach your sample data and chart.

Go Advanced -> Manage Attachments -> Upload

Are all your formulas accurate and working correctly? I just see all blanks for the charts.

That depends on the drop down you would like. Next to data field, on sheet 2, you can choose PE Ratio, EBITDA etc. If you change cell D3 and E3 to Sales and cells D4 to 18bc and E4 to 19bc. You are supposed to get filled up charts with different information

What I'm saying is, I change the drop-down lists and the fields below the drop-down lists are all blank, no matter what I select.

Maybe I'm not selecting the right things?

Oh no, that's very unfortunate, all that data comes from Bloomberg and won't be available to someone without Bloomberg... :'(
Is there a way you could tell me how to format it, please?

Are you able to put some dummy data in your source table to at least represent what you are describing?

Re: Dynamic change in the y-axis problem

Upon opening the file I can see values in E13:BG18 on sheet1. When I select enable editing the values become #NAME?
The only thing that I can do to help may be to describe how to upload the file with values that can be worked with.
    I would suggest:
    1) selecting the range E13:BG18
    2) Copy the range (Ctrl + c)
    3) While the range is still selected paste special values (Ctrl + Alt + v and choose values)
You should then be able to re upload the file with the values in place so that members can see the issue and work on a solution.
