excel formula for CountIFs

Hi, I need help with getting an excel formula that can do the following:
COUNTIFS(A:A, All cells that start with RMA,C:C,"C",B:B,DATE from JAN 1, 2015 to JAN 31, 2015)
COUNTIFS(A:A, All cells that start with RMA,C:C,"C",B:B,DATE from FEB 1, 2015 to FEB 28, 2015)

and so on.
I have attached the spreadsheet for better clarity. Data is located on Tab: Sheet1

Try these:

B2 =COUNTIFS(Sheet1!B:B,">="&A2,Sheet1!B:B,"<="&EOMONTH(A2,0),Sheet1!C:C,"C",Sheet1!A:A,"RMA*")
C2 =SUMIFS(Sheet1!D:D,Sheet1!B:B,">="&A2,Sheet1!B:B,"<="&EOMONTH(A2,0),Sheet1!C:C,"C",Sheet1!A:A,"RMA*")
