Pull cell data within v look up range into specified columns

    Hi all,

I need a bit of help on a v look up issue

I run a daily SQL and attach new data to worksheet highlighted in pink
At the minute i am manually inputting "initial allocation" and "live date" columns but would like this be automated

I need the v lookup to capture the product code, size and colour

I did get help on the forum yesterday with below formula but when i apply new data and drag the cell down it returns NA# and i have no idea how to sort, can anyone help, please?

    Thanks in advance

    Re: V look up

What results do you expect to see? Where do you expect to see them? Please amend your sheet/description so that we can tell what you want.

    Re: V look up

Please take a moment to re-read forum rule #1 and then amend your thread title to something that better explains your problem. Changing your thread title is not optional, which means you must change it. Thanks!

    • Use concise, accurate thread titles.
    • Your post title should describe your problem, not your anticipated solution.
    • Use terms appropriate to a Google search - poor thread titles, like Please Help, Urgent, Need Help, Formula Problem, Code Problem, and Need Advice tell us nothing.
    • Responding to a request to change your thread title by doing so is mandatory.

To change a title go to your first post, click EDIT then Go Advanced and change your title.

No help to be offered, please, until the OP complies with this request.

Hi. I really don't think that this is what you want...but it seems to be what you asked for... ISUSPECT that what you really want will require VBA, but we'll see. It all depends on what you wnat to happen when tomorrow's data are added...

Re: Pull cell data within v look up range into specified columns

Firstly you have create one master sheet as : All product code, product colour, size. In this sheet you enter all initial allocations.
In second sheet, your daily SQL data. Assuming live date mean on that particular day date, which you run SQL on particular day.
In this case, need some helper columns.
With index match & if function you can get result which you want. For more clarity see attach file.

Only one thing, in sheet1 "G" column Live Date you can apply =today() each day, but after output select those formula cells, > Copy > Paste Special > Values. This activity manually on daily.

Sheet1 : column "E" use combine data, "H" extract unique record from "E" column.

Changes range as per your data record.
