Copy from one sheet and paste in multiple sheets in single shot

Hi,

I need to copy 5 columns and paste it in 10 sheets in single shot.


I tried selecting 5 columns in the active sheet and then selected 10 sheets using Shift + CTRL+ PgDn and then going to the last cell CTRL + Right arrow key , then paste in next cell. Data gets copied but the problem is CTRL+ right arrow, Next cell does not work. It is copied based the column. For eg : If I have pasted it in the AD then in all sheets it is pasted in AD. But in few sheets it should be K column and few it should be AM.

Any other way?

Hi welcome to the forum
Do you have any VBA knowledge?
You will need code that can be run after you select the range.
Just select the are and then loop through all the present worksheets and past it to the area, you do NOT need to select the other worksheets.
You can start by recording a macro and do it for just one worksheet and the edit it to repeat for all the worksheets.

If you need to copy all columns, click - say letter A - then select till letter E, right click --> copy, then select all sheet you need, then click in - say A1 in one of selected sheet, and choose paste.
You can copy a range of cells in the same way.

You don't read carefully...

then select all sheet you need, then click in - say A1 in one of selected sheet, and choose paste.

If you select all sheet (all you need) and write or paste some data, in one of them, you will see that data in all sheets.
Try it.

If you want to paste data from sheet1 - in say - sheet2 to sheet6 (or sheet10... if you want), click on tab sheet2 then press SHIFT and click on tab sheet6, now all sheets are selected.

If sheet are not contigue then click - in say - sheet2 then press CTRL and clic all tab with sheet name you want...
