    Question SUMPRODUCT? or not

    Hello!

    I know what I want to do, but cant do it, please help.

    Attached is a spreadsheet.

    I am hoping I can count all the work hours dedicated onto the job by highlighting all the cells.

    For example. In cell 'C14' it would count all the 8hrs that are allocated to B (Becket House) project within the area between C3:P10.

    Is this possible please?

    Count or sum the work hours? I'll assume that you meant sum.

    C14 =SUMIF(C$4:P$10,A14,C$3:P$9)

    Also, I highly recommend getting rid of the merged cells. That is likely to cause problems down the road. Namely in column A.
