    Drop down options in Column A, populates column B

    Hi

    We have a proposal template in Word, and within a table we have a list of options relating to the building trade. ideally, we would like to populate the proposal template, so if i choose Door in column A, the price will automatically come through in colum B. Ideally all this to be done in Word, however, i don't believe this can be done. Therefore, is it possible to have a template in Word, that links into Excel that does this requirement? If so, how please

    Why not do it all in Excel? You could have one sheet for the data, and another sheet which displays a selection of it in the format of your Word proposal, which can then be printed out.

    To help you further, though, we would need some more detail from you - it would help if you attached a sample file that we could work on (NOT a picture).

    Hi,

    I have attached a word document with what I am trying to achieve. Obviously dummy information.

    In the first column you select the type, and in the next column I want to corresponding $$ value to appear.
