Can you force newly opened tabs to have a certain format?

I want all newly opened tabs to have the same format. (Specifically, I want certain columns to have certain background colors and column titles). Is there a way to make all newly opened tabs look like that?

Is this to be a global format for all workbooks or are you only interested in one workbook?

    It's just for one workbook.

Just create a template page and put it on the back end of the tabs, and whenever needed just right click and copy the template for a new page

I believe that you can do this with the Workbook_NewSheet event. If you are looking for someone here to provide you with some code for that you will need to define the characteristics that you want to apply to each new sheet.
