    Question Question on sumproduct

    Hello,

I have this inside my sumproduct but it does not work.

so i want to count those cells with that Length is 1 and is a space

so (--(($M$2:$M$23)=" ")) gives me {0;1} which means there is one among the two cells with the condition met. now when i wrap it with sumproduct it does not work.

    =SUMPRODUCT((--(($M$2:$M$23)=" ")))

    any help?

    Re: Question on sumproduct

Instead of showing us one section of a non-working formula, I recommend uploading a small representative sample of your data along with the desired results (which you can enter manually) based on that data.

To upload an Excel workbook, follow these steps:
    1) Click on "Go Advanced"
    2) Click on "Manage Attachments"
    3) Click on "Choose File"
    4) Choose your file and click on "Open"
    5) Click on "Upload"
    6) Click on "Close this window"

    Re: Question on sumproduct

=COUNTIF(M:M," ") will give you that.
