Problem copying conditional formatting down a column

    Hello.

I have a spreadsheet for use in work which logs all of the enquiries we get. I've set up some formulas in conditional formatting that colours different cells based on their values or other cell values which I've had no problem with until now.

I added this formula yesterday in conditional formatting: =COUNTIFS(I2305,"*Priced*",U2305,"*g*"). This will colour a cell if both of these conditions are met and points at one specific cell(in this case, H2305). The problem i have is that when i try to drag copy this all the way down a column it changes the target cell from one individual cell to a range, for example, =$H$2305:$H$2315. I have noticed that it is displayed as $H$ which i now know means it is an "absolute cell" but when i try to remove the $ in conditional formatting it just puts it back.

I need to some how make this row specific but have no idea how to do it so would appreciate any help. I'm not exactly great at explaining things so if you need any more information just let me know.

    Hi, welcome to the forum

Instead of trying to copy the CF down, adjust the range it APPLIES TO, to cover the range you need.
    1. Use code tags for VBA.
Your Code
(or use the # button)
    2. If your question is resolved, mark it SOLVED using the thread tools
