I’m currently working on a project for work, it involves implementing data across around 100 excel documents and there’s around 30 separate instances of the project running (individual shops)
I created the files so that they would be put onto the H: (networked drive) of the stores computer, each store has a H: and it gives me a generic point of reference rather than having to deal with dynamic file paths.
The company is moving in the direction of cloud software and they would love for me to move the files onto OneDrive, this will make them run faster and provide a backup all good points... but I’m not sure how to reference the file paths so that they would work.
Does anyone have any recommendations for achieving this...
I wouldn’t be able to use relative file paths as some files need to access data in the parent directory...
