    Print pre-selected cells only

I'm putting together a spreadsheet that has cells some people need to see on screen and others dont need to see on a printed version.

Is there a way to pre determine which cells are printed and have them printed joined up. Example, if I wanted every other column printed and wanted them to appear without gapes on the page?
I can use the hide option I know, but I would like to avoid those who do need to see it all from having to flaff around opening and closing panels.

You'd probably be better with two sheets. The primary one with all the data for those who need to see it all, and a second with simple links for the subset of cells that are required for the other audience.

Sorry been a little busy. It isnt resolved to the way that I would like it to be. I don't really want to create another work book as it complicates things for people who are not used to excel. I'll just keep certain columns and rows hidden and leave it at that.

Not a new workbook, just a second worksheet within the same workbook with links, for example, =Sheet1!A3, =Sheet1!C7, =Sheet1!D9, etc.
