    pivot table dates

If I have Tabs that have pivot tables and the main tab is the data that these tabs pull the selected criteria from.

I have to change each Pivot table date (ie 5/11/2018) from each tab.

Is there a way or a VBA that one Tab, when the date has been changed the others that need changing, will Auto change too?

    Many thanks

I'm thinking this can be changed with VBA. Are you changing the entire name or just part of it. Will all have a similar name. Give us some details and let us come up with a solution. Without further information, this is the best we can do. A sample workbook would help.

    Re: pivot table dates

I have added the 3 Tabs that have the Pivot data.
You will see when any of the Pivot data Tabs are opened, there is a Material Avail. Date dropdown.
When that is clicked, click on Date Filters and then what says 'Before'.
It then opens a Date filter box and the date then can be changed.
What I am after is when the date is changed in the Value pivot Tab, the other 2 tabs date Auto changes, instead of me having to go into each Tab and change.
    Can this be done.

Do you only have Excel 2003?

If you have later version 2013+, then you can use a timeline slicer and link it to all 3 pivots.

    Re: pivot table dates

Im not sure if the excel we use is 2003 or a newer version (2010, 2013 +).

The Timeline Slicer is a good way but:
Is there a way of just creating a VBA so that the 1st Pivot when changed, will Auto change the other 2 Pivot Tabs date as well.

    Many thanks

If the excel is 2003 and not a later version, can I or is there another way to have the timeline slicer to pick up the Pivots ?

    Many thanks

No. Slicers only became available in 2010. Open Excel Click on File. Click on Account and read what version of excel you have. Because you have an.xlsx file, I know it is a later version than 2003, but what version?
