I know how to create links between workbooks but have a problem that I hope someone can address.

I have several VERY large workbooks with LARGE worksheets in each.

All of these access VERY large workbooks/worksheets from a different workbook.

When I create the link, the DESTINATION worksheet displays that a cell contains data when in fact it does NOT as the SOURCE worksheet has blank cells - many of them (due to design/display layout).

Editing the DESTINATION file to remove the erroneous data is cumbersome and VERY time consuming!

Is it possible to copy/paste the link to the DESTINATION worksheet but IGNORE (i.e. NOT fill) blank cells from the SOURCE worksheet?

I do NOT know VBA and haven't time to learn it at this stage so a macro is NOT an option for me.

I'd appreciate a solution or, barring that, a confirmation that it can not be done (just to put me out of, or deeper into, my misery).
