How to Set a table´s titles as Column headings

    Hi everyone,
I´m working on a report and I´m wondering how to set a table´s titles as Column headings when I´m scrollong within my tables area.
    This is what I mean:

    Welcome to the forum.

If you want to keep the top row visible as you scroll down, go to the View tab and click Freeze Panes. You can choose to always have the top row visible, the left-hand column or (using the first option) you can select a cell and everything above and to the left of it will stay visible.

    Hope that's what you want.
    Regards,
    Aardigspook

I recently started a new job so am a bit busy and may not reply quickly. Sorry - it's not personal - I will reply eventually.
If your problem is solved, please go to 'Thread Tools' above your first post and 'Mark this Thread as Solved'.
If you use commas as your decimal separator (1,23 instead of 1.23) then please replace commas with semi-colons in your formulae.
You don't need to give me rep if I helped, but a thank-you is nice.

Re: How to Set a table´s titles as Column headings

Hi, it´s an old file I was given in my work. I don´t know who made it. I´m just asked to deal with it.
I´ve tried many solutions but none has worked yet. I´ve seen that the table range is in tabular form and the pivot chart menu is open. I don´t know if it has to do with that.
I would be very greatful if somebody could help me.

It seems to be something you can do with Power Query (called 'Get and Transform' in 2016).
See here for instructions to 'Promote a row to column headers': https://support.office.com/en-gb/art...d-23daa51889cf
I can't test it right now as I don't have PQ at work.

Re: How to Set a table´s titles as Column headings

It could just be the normal functionality of a table.
If you are within the table and the header row is above the top visible row then the Column Letters/Numbers will be replaced with table header text.

As Andy said, all Tables do that if you're within the table as soon as you scroll the top row off the screen.

You're welcome, glad I could help and thanks for the rep.

As you've only recently joined, you may not know that you can mark the thread as Solved if your original question has been taken care of so others know there's an answer here. Instructions to do it are in my sig - if you could take a moment to do it, that would be appreciated. Thanks.
