Pretty much the same issue as: https://www.excelforum.com/excel-gen...nk-leaves.html
I have a log where each row represents an event with a hierarchy of items, and the hierarchy is parsed into the columns of the "Log Data" table.
The hierarchy is then reported in a Pivot Table, with each level of the hierarchy in the Rows field.
However, not every event log has a full hierarchy. Some events have only a 3-level hierarchy, some have the full 6, and all possibilities in between.
As a result, the Pivot Table is showing blanks in the tree structure.
The goal is to hide the blanks (highlighted orange in attached file) completely, and have the parents with blanks (highlighted green in attached file) show no tree button and not be expandable. I can't hide (blank) using the filter, since this eliminates the parent levels as well. Example: filtering out (blank) from B1 or C1, completely removes them both leaving only A1.
Example of the goal is next to the Pivot Table in attached file.
Is this possible?
