how to lock or freeze today funtion and Now funtion

I make a table with autofill date once a reference column has fill with necessary data, but since I use now function and today function which is volatile, then everytime I open the workbook dates are automaticaly updates with the current date.

what I want is to freeze or lock the specific date from the time the data was encoded and and should never change.
Can somebody offers help how could it be possible?
see attached excel file. I use two diffirent formula separately 2 sheets.

Try the attached macro.

It's for the Inbound Sheet with dates in column A.
Change it for the HR-DH & Transfers Sheet Change event macro to reflect the date column G

thanks richard, but I've notice the formula I use with NOW function is working it freezes the day and time and it now volatile, I applied the same formula in today function and fortunately its working. Its great. thanks anyway.
