    Commercial services

    Hello,
I would like to join as a customer to the Commercial Services part of the forum.
Could you give me the link where I can find out more, or explain, how the Points in Commercial Services work?
If I buy 30 points what does this mean?
And more important, if I can post questions about my product that is commercial?
    Thanks,
    Davor
    You can help me too.

    Re: Commercial services

There is a button at the right-hand end of the menu at the top of the screen which will take you to Commercial Services.

    Hope this helps.

It depends what you mean by 'commercial'. Please elaborate and we'll let you know.

    Re: Commercial services

Commercial Services is a forum to pay for help for something you need immediately, or beyond the scope of what is reasonable to ask in the free forums. I reckon you could pay someone to evaluate something you intend to offer as a commercial product, but that's not its primary use.

If you are considering doing so, I would be circumspect about rights; this and all other forums claim rights to the contents of posts. If the workbook includes code, and it's not password-protected, that would be a disclosure (not that password protection is much of an impediment to accessing it).

Personally, I never enable macros in a workbook unless I have read the code to ensure it's benign -- and would counsel other members to do the same.

    Re: Commercial services

The thread you have started in commercial services is all about evaluating your website. That is not, in my view, what it is intended for.

    Re: Commercial services

For the record I raised this in the mods forum before Ali intervened, seeking a more general view before making a decision.

Personally I can see an argument for permitting this in the CS forum as I've indicated in the Mods forum.

    Re: Commercial services

I too see nothing wrong with it. The OP is prepared to pay for an evaluation of his product by advanced users of Excel, it’s hardly advertising, nor is there really any rule in commercial services against this as far as I can see?
