"Nfk" prefix in cells when values entered

Hello all,

Searched extensively via tech support, web search and in the excel forum but have not come across mention of this issue.

When I enter a value into a cell on Excel or Project it immediately adds the prefix "Nfk". This is very frustrating as it cannot seem to be removed.

I've checked my settings to make sure language is proper and keyboard is setup correctly. No one seems to have heard of this issue.

Any help or ideas to try are greatly appreciated. It looks really unprofessional and is affecting the performance of both programs.

select fthe cells, right click select format and set format as general
