Is there a way to determine to calculation speed of a formula?

I have a running total formula in my Excel table: =SUM(INDEX([Amount], 1):[at[Amount]]). I want to test whether doing a simple =SUM(B1, A2) formula is faster, where A is my Amount column and B is my Running Total column. Other than taking a stopwatch and starting it when I hit the Enter on my keyboard and stopping it when I have control of my computer again, is there any way I can accurately measure the speeds of these two formulas?

Yes. Here is one that shg (the Guru of Gurus here) uses. I use it often, myself.

    it's pretty self-explanatory.
