Hi All,
I have a spreadsheet which has a column for the gender (B3:B300) of the individual (M or F, no surprises there) and another with their BMI (Body Mass Index) (K3:300)
I'd like to work out the average BMI for each gender. How do I do it.

Welcome to the forum!
Please update your user profile with the version of Excel you are using. If it's a recent version, you can use the AVERAGEIF function.
