    Transposing certain rows into columns

    export.PNG

This export has three columns. The third column reflects inputs and may contain 13 answers--each of which is then reflected as a separate row in the table. (file attached: export)

The desire is for each of the rows to be reflected in the same row, but a column for each answer. The perfect output looks like this (file attached: desire)

You haven't attached Excel workbook - you've attached pictures of one, which can't be worked on or edited. It would be better if you attached a sample Excel workbook.

To do this, click on Go Advanced (below the Edit Window) while you are composing a reply, then scroll down to and click on Manage Attachments and the Upload window will open. Click on Browse and navigate to (and double-click) the file icon that you want to attach, then click on Upload and then on Close this Window to return to the Edit window. When you have finished composing your post, click on Submit Post. Don't try to use the Paperclip icon, as it doesn't work on this forum.

    Hope this helps.

    Pete

You can do this through Power Query/ Get and Transform. Upload your file to PQ, Click on the column to be transposed. Click on Unpivot this column. Click on Home and Close and Upload..
