I have a spreadsheet that uses MS-Query to create a Table. When I originally set the query up, it created a Table with the name "Query_from_RPTPRD01" I changed the name of this table to "Table_Data."
Now I am trying to link to Table_Data from MS-Access. MS-Access doesn't "see" Table_Data" it only sees "Query_from_RPTPRD01" which does not exist in the workbook anymore.
So I decided that since MS-Access is brain-addled, I would change the name of the table from Table_Data back to Query_from_RPTPRD01. When I try this I get the message that a table with that name already exists.
No, no hidden sheets and the Name Manager should show it if it existed.
Also, I ran this little piece of code
And it confirms that Table_Data exists and Query_from_RPTPRD01 does not exist. Please Login or Register to view this content.
This is not the first time I've had a table name get "stuck" in Excel's memory. Is there a way to do a lobotomy?
