HI,
I have to sort data vertically as its currently horizontal. Transpose does not works as it changes a lot of the data set. Please take a look of this file and help me out in sorting this data vertically.
Thanks in anticipation.

Have you tried loading it into Power Query and using the Transpose feature? You haven't really said how you want it arranging.

Well, I could, but you haven't really made it clear exactly how you are hoping it will look. Can you tell me that?
please have a look at sheet number two in the same file Named as required shape c3 is name of the area the c5 to h5 has the name of variables and then b6 has years, when one area ends the other area starts just beneath it like c39 and so on.
I've just seen the required layout hidden on another tab in your workbook! I will have a look in a short while.
thanks for your help,
