how do i stop my pivot from changeing size after refresh

Hi how do I

1 . stop the row size (not column width) from changing when I refresh my pivot table

2. when i insert graph from pivot table and right click and select data and then switch row/column my pivot changes format- how do i stop this from happening

I can't duplicate this. I resized some rows on a pivot table, refreshed and the row height remained the same

You can't. There are two work-arounds. The first is to make one pivot table for display and a second pivot table to run the chart.

The second work-around is to overlay the data with named dynamic ranges and build the chart on the ranges. Here are a couple of wikis that explain how to do that.
