Using Named Range in Conditional Formatting Formula

Hi,

I would like to use a named range reference in the formula for determining which cells to format in conditional formatting. Specifically, I have a named cell, "Period", and I want all cells beneath C1, for example, to be highlighted a certain color if C1 is less than or equal to Period. Is there a way to reference Period in the conditional formatting formula?

Nevermind, the formula bar accepts named ranges as they are, without quotes, and I have what I need. FYI, in my example, the answer was:
