    Content-sensitive dropdown boxes do not appear in Excel for Windows

    Hi! I'd really appreciate the community's help.

    My scenario: I have a spreadsheet that allows you to select and plan you fantasy football team... I need the functionality to allow the user to select a Team first (columns C, M, U, AC, AK, AS, BA), which then provides a team-specific list of of players to select in the column to the left.

    I have researched the method, I believe correctly, and the dropdown boxes appear and work correctly on my MacBook. However, there are no dropboxes whatsoever when opened with Excel for Windows, and there are referencing errors when using online through Google Sheets. I get that the latter seems to because the INDIRECT formula does not exist, and I can get over that, but if anyone has an alternative that works on all formats, it would be hugely appreciated.

    Am I going wrong here somewhere? Spreadsheet is attached.

    Thanks in advance.

    John

    Make sure objects are not hidden.
    Go to File=>Options=>Advanced

    Thanks mate! So simple!! Jeez

    Any idea why it doesn't work on Google Sheets? INDIRECT function doesn't work? Is there an alternative method?
