formula does not work in excell 2007

    Hi

I have made a sheet at home that put data into specific section for example any thin that has GRI in the txt it falls under GRI in the pivot - my issue is when I try use it at work 2007 excel I can still see the pivot but when I double click on any of the totals it does not work ( it should bring up new sheet with the data)

formula is in the raw data dab column I = =IFERROR(LOOKUP(1000,SEARCH($J$2:$J$19,H2),$J$2:$J$19),"OTHER")

is there any fix for this

Re: formula does not work in excell 2007

My copies of 2007 both have the IFERROR() function.

When I open your sample file in my copy of 2007, I can double click on a pivot table result and a new sheet will pop up, so the feature seems to be working when I open it. This is not a feature I am familiar with, so I can only say that something happens, I don't know what it should be doing. It is certainly doing something more than nothing. Can you explain in more detail what "doesn't work" means?

I think I figured out what this feature is. It appears to be the "show details" feature of the pivot table. According to the help files for my copy of Excel 2007, this feature is enabled/disabled through a check box in the pivot table options dialog. Perhaps this has been disabled in your copy of 2007. Maybe search your 2007 help files for "pivot table show details" to see how to check and change the status of this feature.

Oops, I thought that came in with 2010, must be getting confused with something else.
