Hello, everyone,
I have a question about conditional formatting. I have two columns, B and C, with data. The data in each column begins in row 5. The conditional format I would like is: If B5 does not equal C5, B5 is highlighted a color. The same logic continues down each column- if B6 does not equal C6; if B7 does not equal C7...etc, the cell in column B is highlighted. Otherwise, if the cells do agree, the cell in column B is left unshaded. My attempt so far has been to highlight column B, open conditional formatting, enter this formula as the rule =B5<>C5, select my format and apply the rule. Upon execution, every cell is highlighted. How do I correct my error?
Thank you!
