    Date field not showing correctly

I have a spreadsheet that was an old 2013 spreadsheet with a macro. I have converted it to an .xlsm file in Office 365. There is a field that is supposed to be a date, but it shows the integer value of the date on the spreadsheet. The cell is set up as a Date format, I have tried changing it to different date formats, and it even shows as a date in the formula bar. It is really weird. Has anyone noticed something like this when changing versions of Excel?

I double checked that the old file in 2013 (.xls) format shows a date.

Attach a sample workbook (not a picture or pasted copy). Make sure there is just enough data to demonstrate your need. Include a BEFORE sheet and an AFTER sheet in the workbook if needed to show the process you're trying to complete or automate. Make sure your desired results are shown, mock them up manually if necessary.

    Remember to desensitize the data.

Re: Date field not showing correctly

Excel Options | Advanced | Display Options for this worksheet | Deselect Show formulas in cells instead of their calculated result.

Demonstrated by typing the formula =C13 in, say, cell D13. It will show as =C13, not the value in cell C13.

By deselecting the option, both cells will show 3/12/19, that is, March 12, 2019

Pure genius. I have no idea how this flag got switched and would never have found it myself. Thank you very much!
