Drop Down List multiple rows and columns

    Hi,

I am trying to create a drop down list with numbered options (say 1, 2, 3), that when selected would autopopulate multiple columns and rows (including blank cells).
The drop down list numbered options correspond with part of a table. The table is on another worksheet, and these are the column headings: Meal Option (which would be the numbered drop down options), Ingredients, Quantity, and Unit. The meal option column has only the drop down list numbers, while the other columns have multiple values.

I've already tried the drop down list and vlookup function (but haven't found a solution that goes across multiple rows and columns linked to one drop down menu option).

The main issue is connecting one drop down number with multiple rows (because vlookup requires separate lookup values for each row, not just one that is applicable for multiple rows and columns).

    Thanks

It sounds like what you are looking for is a cascading dropdown list. There are several ways to accomplish these so do a web search for cascading drop down lists.

Also, here is one technique I use. http://www.utteraccess.com/wiki/Casc...ists_%28VBA%29

If you need additional help, attach a sample workbook.
One spreadsheet to rule them all. One spreadsheet to find them. One spreadsheet to bring them all and at corporate, bind them.

A picture is worth a thousand words, but a sample spreadsheet is more likely to be worked on.
