Hello
I have some tables under .txt format I am trying to import through data > new query > from file > from folder. The decimal separator is ".", but after I combine the tables the separator is interpreted as ",", and my values become messed. Because my default decimal separator is already defaulted to ".", I don't know what is the problem. Here are two screenshots of the problem.
The first picture is the correct one, and the second is the problem.
Under the power query options, is the checkbox for ‘Preserve column sort/filter/layout’ selected? If not select that option and see if it corrects the problem.
If that doesn't help then I suggest uploading a small desensitized sample of the raw text data along with the problematic Power Query table, as it is easier to troubleshoot a excel file than a screenshot.
To upload a sample workbook click on the GO ADVANCED button below the Quick Reply window and then scroll down to Manage Attachments to open the upload window.
