Why won't columns autofit?

Hi everyone,

Attached is a spreadsheet with 3 columns which look like they can be shrunk in size but won't. In columns E, F, and G there looks like there is some space on the right which can be shrunk down, yet when I double click on the column divider nothing happens. Why is this happening?
