How to keep x axis labels from repeating

Here is how my data is laid out:
Date Source Hits
4/18/2019 N/A 4
4/18/2019 file1 3
4/18/2019 file2 3
4/18/2019 file3 1
4/19/2019 N/A 7
4/19/2019 fil1 2
4/19/2019 mscorlib 3
4/19/2019 file3 1
4/19/2019 file4 3

I did a column chart and all looks good, except that it keeps repeating the date. I just want the date to show up once for the columns that pertain to that date, like one entry for 4/18/2019, one entry for 4/19/2019. I know I can get this by clearing out the extra dates in the original table, but isn't there another way to accomplish this?
