If function within an if function driving me mad

hi guys, dying inside - any help would be much appreciated.

I currently have an IF function that i would like not to action should a particular cell be blank.

    So:
-If cell A22 is blank, i would like cell B22 to also remain blank.
-However, if cell A22 has a date, cell B22 will need to action the following current IF function: IF(MONTH($B$4)=MONTH(A22),$B$6-$C$6, $B$6)

I have highlighted an example cell in red here:

    Any help would be great!
    Thanks

That works great Fluff13 - thanks for that.

An unexpected result is if i change the tenancy length (cell 3) to a lower number, i thought the later months would disappear. Is there perhaps a better formula than =IF(EDATE(A19, 1)>=($B$4), "", EDATE(A19, 1))?

    Thanks again
