Checkbox programming

Hi,

What sort of formula would I have to use to create a checkbox that only displays certain cells that have a specific colour/value?

I have a tab ‘Recommendations’ where the user defines the score against an assessment which in turns gives it a colour e.g. 1=red, 2=amber and 3=green.

This table is then paste linked to a tab ‘dashboard’ where I would like it to become more user focused so the individual can use checkboxes to just display a certain score/colour depending on what they want to review.

Is this something simple to create or am I thinking to far outside of the box?
