    Unsure sorting

Hello and thank you in advance. I have the following columns:

    Date
    Staff Id
    Student Id
    Family Name
    Preferred Name
    Year
    Gender
    Type
    Period of Day
    Location
    Subject
    Categories
    Strategies
    Motivation

The column length will vary but I am looking for a way to say- check column teacher, calculate the number of hits per teacher, then display that info somewhere else. Columns may have multiples of the same data.

I would also like to be doing this for family name + preferred name

And probably more. I am a teacher trying to help my staff visualise our behaviour data. Thank you all in advance and sorry if I’m posting in the wrong area.

    Re: Unsure sorting

Attach a sample workbook (not a picture or pasted copy). Make sure there is just enough data to demonstrate your need. Include a BEFORE sheet and an AFTER sheet in the workbook if needed to show the process you're trying to complete or automate. Make sure your desired results are shown, mock them up manually if necessary.

    Remember to desensitize the data.

Click on GO ADVANCED and then scroll down to Manage Attachments to open the upload window.
let Source = #table({"Question","Thread", "User"},{{"Answered","Mark Solved", "Add Reputation"}}) in Source

    Re: Unsure sorting

    Hello Olly

Unfortunately I cannot post the data due to security reasons (names of minors, government documents)etc...

Hopefully someone will be able to tell by the columns and my description. (Crossing fingers)

    Re: Unsure sorting

Your requirement is vague. What does "number of hits" mean? What does your required output look like?

I advised posting a sample (i.e. not all of it) of desensitized (i.e. the sensitive stuff changed / removed so that it's no longer sensitive), with an example of your required output. This would help us help you.

Thanks Olly. I’ll try to get something together before I post. Thanks for your help.
