    Conditional Formatting based on another cell.

    Good day all,

    Having some problems stringing a formula together for conditional formatting.

    Dual formula

    On the attached example.

    Format Cell C4 - IF Forecast Date is greater then target date by 1 - 3 days format Amber

    Format Cell C4 - IF Forecast Date is greater then target date by 3 days or more format Red

    Format Cell C4 - IF Forecast Date is less than or equal to then target date format Green

    Additional Format - Highlight Cells in Column E - Rows 3-4 based on the format in Cell B4

    Thanks

    Tim

    Thanks for the input so far.

    Part missing is the formatting of cells in Column E - based on the colour outputs in cell C4.

    Additional Format - Highlight Cells in Column E - Rows 3-4 based on the format in Cell B4

    Re: Conditional Formatting based on another cell.

    Maybe Select C4 & E3:E4 & use these
    =$C$4-$C$3>3 for Red
    =$C$4-$C$3>0 for amber
    =$C$4<=$C$3 for green

    Does the solution provided by Fluff13 work? There is no format in cell B4 per your request.
