Pivot Chart Data Labels Disappear When a Different Slicer Option is Selected

I have a pivot chart that is a pie-chart tying into two pivot tables (the "Report Connections" option for the slicer has both pivot tables selected). I have the data labels on the pie-chart showing the value and category name. Sadly, when I choose a different selection on the slicer (e.g. a different employee to look at) the data labels completely disappear. Do any of you know how to fix this/workaround this? I need the value and category name to show for each slice of the pie any time a new employee is selected without having to reformat each time.

I have a workaround that I use myself. Add a helper column somewhere out of the way that contains IF functions based on your table. You can then set the title of your pivot table to reference the cell.

It doesn't make any sense the way I've typed it, but then, I don't know exactly what titles or what your pivot table looks like. Is there any way you can upload something that I can work off of?
