    Question Grey field appears below of the window when using filters

    Hi All,

    Could anyone help me with the issue on my excel worksheet?

    Grey field appears on the bottom of spreadsheet when filtering a massive excel file. It look like that lines just gone somewhere. File is linked with other file including formulas.

    Screenshot attached.

    Please help!!

    Welcome to the forum!

    No screenshot ... But a sample workbook would be better.

    Unfortunately the attachment icon doesn't work at the moment, so to attach an Excel file you have to do the following: just before posting, scroll down to Go Advanced and then scroll down to Manage Attachments. Now follow the instructions at the top of that screen.

    This can occur if you have data at or close to the maximum row that Excel can handle (row 1,048,576). See the attached picture below.

    Looks like all the rows below that are either hidden, or the row height has been changed to a very small value.
    Select all the cells on the sheet, right-click one of the row numbers & set row height= 12
