I have an excel spreadsheet, which used to have formula links to an external spreadsheet. Whenever a user would open the spread, a message would display saying "We can't update some of the links in your workbook right now."
In attempts to resolve that error message, I changed all of these links to queries. And the information gets pulled in wonderfully. But I still get that "We can't update some of the links..." message.
When I click on the "Edit links..." button, the only file listed in the "Source" column is the add-in I created which essentially is the macro repository for the file (there are MANY files across many "Accounts" in the company which are based on this master file, with these macros"). There don't appear to be any options to "update the links", as several of the buttons are greyed out. Image follows:

I've done a search on the whole workbook for ".xlam", thinking that perhaps there is a true link somewhere to that add-in, but alas, none are found.
I've also seen where this could be a case where the source workbook has not been calculated before being saved... but the add-in has no sheets, only code (there is a "Sheet1" object in the VBE, but it has no code, and I can't get to a Sheet 1 when opening the add-in directly).
How can I get this error message to go away? I hoped removing actual links would do it... but now there are apparently links to the add-in?
