Show Calculation Formulas from Excel in Word

Hello,

I am doing some simple spreadsheet calculations for a project, and would like to know if Excel does the following, and if not if it can be done with VBA:

Basically I would like Excel to have some logic to compile equations from cells for Word, so that I don't have to go type out the equations in word. This one is for a simple circle area, but there are many other calculations which will also be done.

If it can be done, a simple nudge in the right direction to get me going would be appreciated.

Can you provide a Word file showing what result you want? It's not clear what you would like to see in Word. Do you want to see the Excel formula

=PI()*K3*K3

the Excel formula translated to standard math notation

πr²

Or the entire series of calculations to solve the expression.

In any case, this will require VBA. This is a big job if it involves parsing formulas.
