Wondering if anyone can provide some suggestions for a problem I have been having - for my work, I often have to input data into excel from PDF documents. The data is often not numerical and not in table format.
I have tried the online PDF to Excel converters, but because of the material format, this often required a lot of formatting in excel.
Are there any process that anyone has found useful for importing PDF data into excel?

https://tabula.technology/ is one of the best PDF import tools I've found.
You can use Power Query within Power BI to import and transform PDF data.
Some people find success by opening the PDF in Word, saving as MHT single HTML file, then using Power Query in Excel to import and transform the data.
The best approach for you depends on the format of the PDF file(s).
