Unhappy Excel data types: Stocks HELP

    Hi,

The language of stocks in the spreadsheet has changed from english to chinese. This happened during the night. I closed the worksheet yesterday and opened it now.
It seems to me that Excel are just reading data from a third party, but why is it on chinese when it's always been english?

    Kind regards
    Kristian

    Welcome to the forum!

Absolutely no way we can help you without seeing the workbook.

Unfortunately the attachment icon doesn't work at the moment, so to attach an Excel file you have to do the following: just before posting, scroll down to Go Advanced and then scroll down to Manage Attachments. Now follow the instructions at the top of that screen.

That's not Chinese - it's something else (Japanese, maybe).

I will have a look and see if it's doing the same here.

Showing the same here. Bear in mind that this is still a new feature and likely to be buggy - I would suggest looking to see if it's been reported on the Microsoft forums.
