    Power query and decimal separator

Hi everyone. I'm trying to build an Excel file qith power query and link them to CSV files. No problem so far, but the CSV files use the dot as decimal separator (e.g. 5000.01) while my OS uses the comma (e.g. 5000,01). How can I tell the query to change that without going to change my regional settings?

    Thanks

Why are you asking to delete the thread? We do not do so routinely. Please explain (in another post to this thread) why you feel you have made an error. This may be useful to someone else.

let Source = #table({"Question","Thread", "User"},{{"Answered","Mark Solved", "Add Reputation"}}) in Source

If I give you Power Query (Get & Transform Data) code, and you don't know what to do with it, then CLICK HERE

Because, to be honest, it was so simple that everyone could have done it. The solution is to add a step in the query where it searches and replaces all the dots with commas and you're good to go.

No, that's not true. People come here for help, and the help that is offered, EVEN in threads that are solved by the original poster themselves, can be of assistance to others in the future. Please understand that you are contributing to a database when you start a thread here: the thread does not belong to you.

What you have now told us may well help someone less familiar with PowerQuery, so thank you for that.

If that takes care of your original question, please select Thread Tools from the menu link above and mark this thread as SOLVED. Thanks.
