Count dates in column based on another cell

    Hello,

I was trying to do something like this:
    =COUNTIF(--(MONTH($B$13:$B$9908)=MONTH(M13)), --(YEAR($B$13:$B$9908)=YEAR(M13)))

But getting errors, Basically trying to strip the month and year from M13 and count all occurrences of those in B13:

    Thanks for any help,

    Nick

Try the same but with SUMPRODUCT instead of countif (your syntax is not correct)
If it does not work post a sample sheet ( no pics please) . Clcik Go advanced - Manage attachments
