Show unique categories with corresponding sum of values

I have this excel file where accounting staffs encode financial transactions. The workbook has 2 sheets. First one is where they encode all the transactions and the second one is a summary sheet that sums up all values per category.

Let's say there are 100 transaction codes (e.g. 5020101000, 50202000, 5021299000, etc.) and my summary sheet looks like this:

    Category 1:
    5020101000 10,000.00
    5021299000 5,000.00
    Category 2:
    50202000 7,000.00
    5021299000 5,000.00

Problem is, I don't want to list down all 100 transaction codes under each Category since some of them will have no value and it is unpredictable which transaction code is under which category.
Is it possible to use array to list down only the transaction codes that are being used then sum up their values?

I am uploading this via google sheets btw. Thank you!

Attach a sample workbook (not a picture or pasted copy). Make sure there is just enough data to demonstrate your need. Include a BEFORE sheet and an AFTER sheet in the workbook if needed to show the process you're trying to complete or automate. Make sure your desired results are shown, mock them up manually if necessary.

    Remember to desensitize the data.

Click on GO ADVANCED and then scroll down to Manage Attachments to open the upload window.

I agree with Pepe, a sample workbook would help, but this seems (if the data is in the right structure) to be an easy job for a pivot table
