    Match criteria and give result

    Hello All,

Due to confidential data i have changed all the details in the excel. Please find the attached excel which contains multiple tabs and the required details are as follows:

Am doing migration for entire organization of 4000 users and i need to track according to the branches (ie. finance, admin.. etc which i changed to Team A, Team B etc). The First tab "Raw Data" will contain list of all the users in the organization (4000 users). On migrating the user system in Sheet 1 if i changes the status to "Complete" then it should match all the other sheets (Team A/B/C/D..etc) and if it matches in any of the sheets it should say as "y" in that particular coloum in Sheet1 or "Raw Data). whcih i have given the sample.

    Please find the attached.

    Regards.

It would help if you attached a sample Excel workbook.

To do this, click on Go Advanced (below the Edit Window) while you are composing a reply, then scroll down to and click on Manage Attachments and the Upload window will open. Click on Browse and navigate to (and double-click) the file icon that you want to attach, then click on Upload and then on Close this Window to return to the Edit window. When you have finished composing your post, click on Submit Post.

Don't try to use the Paperclip icon, as it doesn't work on this forum.

    Hope this helps.

    Pete

EDIT: I see that you have done so now.

Re: Match criteria and give result

Due to usage INDIRECT insisde you have to name sheets EXACTLY as describe in row 1.
    Check picture below:
If in F1 is "Cust Rel-Mgmt" sheet can't be named "Cust Relationship Mgmt", etc. As you see when description matching between values in row 1 and sheet names it works (Database, Digital).

If that takes care of your original question, please take a moment to select Thread Tools from the menu above and to the right of your first post in this thread, and mark the thread as SOLVED.

Also, you might like to know that you can directly thank those who have helped you by clicking on the small "star" icon located in the lower left corner of a post that you have found to be helpful (not just in this thread - for any post that has helped you). This also adds to the reputation of the poster (the small green bars in the poster's profile).
