Correct exported date of 3/20/2019 to 3/1/2020

I export my brokerage statement to a .csv file for Excel use. Most positions displayed in a “d-mmm-yy” format, except for futures which are displayed “mmm-yy”, however all dates export to Excel in the “d-mmm-yy” format. This worked fine until I began trading futures with expiration in 2020. So now Excel creates an error since the exported date doesn’t match the actual date.

The only thing I could think of is to test whether the date is in the past but that’s not infallible since currently both Sep 2019 and Set 2020 are trading.

Since the exported date is Mar 20, 2019 (i.e. it appears to be that the problem is how the brokerage company as set up their export), I’m not seeing a clean way to fix it.

    I appreciate any suggestions.

    Re: Fix an export/import issue

I'm not sure I did that right - I followed the instructions as I understood them, but I couldn't find a way to open just the original post - so it appears that I was only able to adjust the title on the reply. Please let me know how to open the original request to adjust the title if this was not what you wanted. Thanks.

I think I got it changed correctly. I would have deleted this post, but although the "Edit" button says "Edit/Delete" when you hover over it, I could not figure out how to actually delete it.
